The Pulse of the Build

The Pulse of the Build

Welcome back to Dailey Weekly: Your Weekend Guide to the Good Stuff!.

As I kick the engines back into gear on the podcast, I’ve been obsessing over the people actually moving the needle. Not the ones talking about "alignment" in a boardroom, but the ones making waves in the trenches.

We’re looking at a global roster of entrepreneurs—from wellness titans and fitness disruptors to masters of the arts. I’m less interested in their polished PR bios and more interested in what makes them tick. I want the guts of their operation: the specific tools they use, the templates that keep them sane, the mental frameworks they deploy when things go sideways, and the raw process behind the "overnight" success. I’m a perpetual student of the game, and these are the people I’m currently following to learn how to build better.

Let’s get into it. 👊

🦅 Unflinching Scale, Greg LaVecchia and The Greens Machine

Most "wellness" founders spend their time debating the optimal shade of kale. Greg LaVecchia spent his time figuring out how to get that kale into 60,000 stores.

In 2018, Bloom Nutrition was a DTC spark. By 2026, under Greg's leadership, it has become a retail juggernaut. The data doesn't lie: the supplement graveyard is filled with brands that had "great vibes" but zero supply chain discipline. Bloom didn't just succeed because of the massive social following; it succeeded because Greg treated the backend like a high-frequency trading floor.

He didn’t hedge. He scaled the Slay App (now Strength), then pivoted that momentum into a physical product empire. It’s a masterclass in narrative leverage. If you want to see what a "Founder-CEO" actually looks like when the cameras aren't just for show, watch Greg. It’s not about the green powder; it’s about the relentless pursuit of distribution.

👊 The Raw Truth, Domenic Iacovone and the PE Playbook

If Bloom is the DTC-to-Retail darling, RAW Nutrition and BUM Energy are the industrial-grade heavy hitters. I found Dom while spiraling through BPN videos. Where Nick Bare’s team is hyper-focused on the organic, local "Go One More" grit, Domenic Iacovone is playing a different game.

Partnering with 6x Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead wasn't just a marketing win; it was the foundation for a global assault. Dom operates with the precision of a chiropractor and the aggression of a serial builder. Unlike the "bootstrap or die" crowd, Dom is leveraging European Private Equity to scale at a pace that would make most founders vomit.

His YouTube channel is the real education. No corporate filters. Just the grit of building a national brand while navigating the complexities of institutional capital. It’s a reminder that while "community" sells the first bottle, infrastructure sells the first million.

📊 The Signal in the Noise, Ed Elson and the Market Whispers

Ed Elson is the smartest guy in the room who doesn’t feel the need to tell you he’s the smartest guy in the room. As the co-host of Prof G Markets, he provides the analytical skeleton for Scott Galloway’s fire-and-brimstone takes.

Ed is a student of the Michael Wolff school of reporting—sharpened, cynical, and deeply researched. Whether he's breaking down the "Algebra of Wealth" or dissecting why a German unicorn is actually a donkey on First Time Founders, his value-add is clarity. In an era of loud, wrong opinions, Ed offers quiet, right data. If you aren't listening to him five days a week, you're essentially flying your portfolio blind.

🏃‍♀️ Jokes for Days, Kate Noel Sweat, Sarcasm, & Wellness

A buddy who loves to cycle and run sent me Kate’s profile with a warning: "She’ll make you want to get out there again, but you’re going to need the glasses." He wasn't wrong.

Kate Noel is the antidote to the "aesthetic" fitness influencer. She’s hilarious, self-deprecating, and brutally honest. Her core philosophy? She runs because she has the "desire to eat like a 6'4" lineman trapped in a 5'2" body." It’s visceral. It’s human. In a world of "optimized performance," she’s out there in those massive, "so-ugly-they're-cool" cycling shades, just putting in the miles so she can crush a burger. She is the reason I’m currently hovering over a "Buy" button for oversized, aerodynamic eyewear. Follow her if you want to remember that fitness is allowed to be fun.

🚀 Foundations & Frameworks, the Dailey Blend Show Returns

The engines are hot. The Dailey Blend Show is officially back from the dead.

I’ve spent the last few months deconstructing how AI actually integrates into a business without the "prompt engineer" fluff. Check out the latest episode of The Rundown, where I break that down. Next Week: @studiosophiehospes joins the show. The Following Week: We kick off the new season of The Rundown in earnest.
